Polydadmac is used as a primary or secondary coagulant in drinking water and wastewater treatment, oily water treatment, organic matter removal, organic dye removal, and sludge dewatering. It is an organic polymer containing cationic radical groups and active adsorbent groups, which destabilize and flocculate suspended solids (TSS) and dissolved substances in water through electroneutralization and bridge adsorption.
It is effectively used in flocculation, color removal, oil removal, and organic matter removal. Despite low dosage requirements, it forms large flocs that enable rapid sedimentation. It has a wide pH operating range and is an odorless, tasteless, and harmless compound.
